Harry Potter is a British film series based on the Harry Potter novels by author J. K. Rowling. The series is distributed by Warner Bros. and consists of eight fantasy films[2] beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and culminating with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011).[3] Without inflation adjustment, it is the second highest-grossing film series with $7.7 billion in worldwide receipts, of which seven out of eight films are among the 50 highest-grossing films.[4]
The series was mainly produced by David Heyman and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as the three leading characters: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Four directors worked on the series: Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuarón, Mike Newell, and David Yates.[5] All eight movies had their screenplays written by Steve Kloves, with the exception of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), written by Michael Goldenberg. Production took over ten years to complete, with the main story arc following Harry Potter's quest to overcome his arch-enemy Lord Voldemort.[6]
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final novel in the series, was adapted into two feature-length parts.[7] Part 1 was released in November 2010, and Part 2 was released in July 2011.(from Wikipedia) Watch on iTunes

Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope)[6][7] is a 1977 American epic space opera[8][9] film written and directed by George Lucas. The first release in the Star Wars saga, it stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Cushing, and Alec Guinness. David Prowse, James Earl Jones, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew co-star in supporting roles.
The plot focuses on the Rebel Alliance, led by Princess Leia (Fisher), and its attempt to destroy the Galactic Empire's space station, the Death Star. This conflict disrupts the isolated life of farmhand Luke Skywalker (Hamill) who inadvertently acquires a pair of robots (known as droids in-universe) that possess stolen architectural plans for the Death Star. When the Empire begins a destructive search for the missing droids, Skywalker agrees to accompany Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Guinness) on a mission to return the Death Star plans to the Rebel Alliance and save the galaxy from the tyranny of the Galactic Empire.(from Wikipedia)

How to pack a shoebox

I have been a Operation Christmas Child volunteer for a few years and I think that people once and for all should in easy terms know how to pack a shoebox for OCC.

 1. Find a Shoebox Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately ( so you can open it.) Avoid cheap "dollar store boxes" if you want to get a plastic box get one from Walmart and make sure the lid comes off (not hinged.) And make sure the latches are sturdy (if there are latches.) I suggest 6 Quart boxes if you are getting a plastic box.

(For plastic boxes click HEREHERE, HERE , HERE, HERE, or, HERE.) Click HERE to learn how to "wrap" the in side of a plastic box with a bandana.  If you want to use a cardboard box make sure it's sturdy and you can go to your local shoe store  and ask for some.

2. Girl or Boy?

Decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.
Click HERE for Printable Labels. Cut the label out then tape it on the top of the box.
3. What To Include
A WOW toy- something SUPER AWESOME!
Toys: Include items that children will immediately embrace such as toy cars, yo-yos, jump ropes, balls, toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries), etc.

School Supplies: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

Non-liquid Hygiene Items: toothbrushes, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc.

Accessories: T-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries), etc.

Crafts: Make your own items such as hair bows, finger puppets, and friendship bracelets.

Do Not Include

Used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; out-of-date candy; liquids (toothpaste is OK) or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.

4. Pray

Most importantly, pray for the child who will receive your gift. You can also include a personal note and photo.

5. $7 Shipping Labels

Donate $7 online and receive a shipping label to Follow Your Box and discover the destination of your shoebox gift. If you are not able to pay online you can put $7 in the box and just use a normal shipping label ( you won't get to Follow Your Box though.) Follow your box is where you can see where your box is going across the world.

This is what a Follow Your Box Label Looks Like.

6. Drop-Off

Take your shoebox gift to: 2300 N Country Club Road, Duncan, OK during National Collection Week, November 16-23. Or you can mail your box to:
801 Bamboo Road
